bought some LR at the LFS 2 days ago, on one of the rocks which i though was a dead brain/moon coral there is about a 1" section of coral still alive. My question is what should I do to nurse this back to health.
From pics i've seen my best guess is that it's a Favites, in one portion of it it's sweepers do extend about 1 cm. Most of the edges do look dead though, there is one ?polyp that appears healty though.
Should I put this coral high up towards the lights (PC's) or low on the bottom, should I feed it alot, a little or not at all for the time being. Any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated
thanx
