i bought 25lbs from ocean aquatics, its nice stuff
although I do regret having it shipped fed ex, bc I had to recure and it took almost a month and there were no critters left on it
Some boxes are better than others, but fresh makes a huge difference, IMO.
TA, I would venture to guess that almost any rock you get shipped air from a wholesaler in LA has got to be better than anything you see at the LFS -- much fresher! And probably cheaper even with freight.
i wanna go and CHERRY PICK about 40-50lbs of LR .......
can anyone please describe the facility? big/small.... lots of vats of rock or just tons of boxes around.... ETC

The facility that's open to the public is not too big, just a small this N that section in the front and the holding system in the back consisting of 60 gallon plastic drums plumbed together. It's in an industrial section with a lot of other warehouses. They have a killer show tank there as well
If i had the need for more rock id go back for a third time There rock is AWESOME!! Everyone who needs rock should do themselves a favor and hit OP up!!!
I just recieved 50 lbs Fiji and 30 lbs Marshal Island rock (The BEST!!!) from OceanPro....Rock was shipped Air Freight from CA to NY...I was rinsing it off LESS THAN 24 hours after OP got the rock! Called me Thursday and said they JUST got it in...I said send it....I picked it up Friday 6:30 pm (thats 3:30 pm CA time!)...how can I say "No"?
the buy it now price has gone up on it. when i got mine it was 1.99 a pound . I guess the demand is getting higher with all the LOVE being spread about Ocean Pros...that or maybe there just adjusting for the ridiculos gas prices!!! Even at 2.25 a pound its a steal!!!
