Ocean Rivive Artic T247B - Mounting

Hello,

I have 2 247B Ocean Revive lights over a 48x24 Rimless Deep Blue tank. Currently I have them mounted with included kit, but front to back vs left to right. Works, but looks silly. I would prefer them in a long 48 inch fashion.

Can anyone confirm if these rail extenders on BRS will also work on the Ocean Revive lights?

They look very similar. If not any other suggestions? My other thought was mount 2 long rails to the current hanging mount points, then on the ends use the included mounts.

Thanks,
Brian

I cannot confirm if those extensions will work or not. I would suggest reaching out to the company. They were very responsive when I was in my research phase.

Why not just hang them sideways without the rail? I have mine mounted this way over a new 48" DB frag tank.

Thanks, I email OC a few days ago and awaiting response.

I can't hang as there is a very unique 3 layer crown molding.

Why not call the BRS or Maxspect and ask them for the diameter of the tube? They don't need to know you are going to use it on a competitor's product. If it's the same size as the OR legs it should work fine. I wouldn't expect OR to know if a Maxspect part will fit their fixture.

I can't say for sure, but I'd bet $50 that they are the exact same size. Probably made by the same supplier in China to both Maxspect and EverGrow (OceanRevive).
