Ocellaris Clown and Snowflake Clown

I have a 30 gal biocube I've had for two years. It's been perfect and I've had no issues with it. I've grown corals and have only had two fish so far (an Ocellaris clown I purchased very tiny (he is now 2"). I also have a yellow watchman gobi I've also had for two years with my clown. I moved two days ago and I was thinking of adding another small snowflake clown. Since I moved the tank and re-arranged the rocks, etc., would it be safe to add the snowflake clown? My tank is very established and doing very well.

it would be safe if you have a big size difference between the two. Just watch them carefully for a few days but there shouldn't be a problem there just needs to be a good size difference

The smallest you can find, around 1" would be good

I agree with shifty as I had a established female in my tank and decided to add a male. I choose the smallest (healthiest) one in the tank. I acclimatized him in the bag and there was alot of jaw clicking, I waited till she settled down and added him. They got on like a house on fire and have been great ever since. My male was about 1'' smaller and I think that is a good size difference.:-)

To be on the safe side put the new clown in a breeder box in the tank for a few days to see if your older clown shows any aggression. This worked well for me.

Well, new snowflake is in. It's about 1/2" smaller. They seem to be getting on well so far. My older clown only snapped once, but basically ignores the new one and goes on about his usual swim routine. I will monitor them over next few days
