OCTOBER Meeting dates

Just got off the phone with Roger.
Everyone was model citizens once again and there were no problems, so unless something changes beyond his control we are good for next meet there as well.

We can go with October 22 or 29th any preferences?<b>

my preference would be the 29th since the Ohio swap is the 21st, that would be a hard trip to do, I feel, and go to a swap the next day. Just MO.

29th would probably be better but will have to overlook any halloween left overs as the night before would be the costume night at most venues.

Unfortunately as long as we are are having these at Rogers only Sundays are safe and even they could potentially run into problems. Until we can get a place somewhere else Im afraid we have no choice

If it wouldnt be a problem with the Ohio meet then either is fine with me as well, we are leaving for the Ohio meet on a Friday and spending the night, will be coming home right after.

Yep it's a lot of fun and a chance to get soe good stuff. But be ware-make sure you QT and dip all your SPS, well not all of them just your acros. I picked up some red bugs from there last year.

Ron, what do you mean by "dip" is that a fresh water dip? Explain to us newbies please

Red bugs are an infestation I would not wish upon anyone. The only way to rid the tank of them is with an interceptor treatment. However rather than treat a healthy unaffected tank with a dose of the med it is easier to dip prospective newcomers in interceptor baths just in case they may be carriers of the bugs.
