Yep, in a deepwater pipeline from 3000 feet: body of a squid, tentacles of an octopus. Scientists are thrilled and puzzled.

unfortunately it died two days after it was caught. and when researchers looked a bit more carefully, it turns out the thing had had two tentacles broken off at some time. in the end, the thing was actually a kind of squid that had been previously discovered... little is known about it though and it does not yet have a species for it.
