Oddity with simu led stick

I've had a red, blue and white flash stick for a few months now.

Every full moon, the stick swaps channels on me and I have to manually change channels every night for the first several days of the lunar cycle or I have a red 'moonlight'.

I hadn't reported it until now as I had been thinking it was correcting itself, but then the problem starts again the next month. :(

Any thoughts?

I have never heard of something like this!
As far as I know you are very familiar with the ProfiLux settings - so I guess they are all OK.
But I will check them again. Could you please send me via mail your settings?
Which firmware do you use?

Who knows, maybe I have something set improperly.
Settings have been emailed.

Using 4.00 now and this has been happening since I received the stick while using 3.06 I believe.

Thank you Matthias!

elzool: I notice anytime I upgrade or change the firmware, I have to reset the led simu or I get a reversed channel -- red at night and blue in the a.m. Once I reset it, it's fine.

That I hadn't noticed. I was using 3.08 for a while and it still did this I believe.

Matthias believes he knows what the problem might be and did come up with a solution for me that involved not overlapping the two colors.

Looks like removing the overlapping didn't take care of it Matthias.

Illumination 1 - Blue
Number 1 - Start at 5:30PM - Duration 10 - Brightness 100%
Number 2 - Start at 6:30AM - Duration 60 - Brightness 0%

Illumination 2 - Red
Number 1 - Start at 4:30PM - Duration 59 - Brightness 0%
Number 2 - Start at 7:31AM - Duration 60 - Brightness 100%

It was red up until I manually swapped channels at 8:30pm.

One more piece of information I had forgotten to give you earlier is that I have a 6 wire
coupler to reach the Profilux and another 1 meter 6 line cord between that and the Profilux.

Thanks!

are these genuine GHL compnents? if not maybe the wiring is causing the issue, take away the third party wiring and see if the setting goes away

No, they are not genuine GHL components. While I have checked the wiring to make certain it is correct, I will move everything over this evening and check it again tonight.

Looks like your crabs are going away Michael, good for you. :D

Although I like the bigger one better. :)
