My power went out at 3:30 called allegheny power and was told it would be on by 2/12 at midnight. Hooked up the generator and was getting ready to go out and eat and the power came back on. It came on at 6:00.

Took my quad out today in the neighborhood, 2 ft of unplowed snow and a 4wd quad sure did put a smile on my face!!!

Got to love snow blowers :))

21-22" here - hard to tell with the drifts

Our Lab seems to like it :)

My snow blower didn't work so well today. The snow was higher than the discharge. We had 21 inches at 8am and had snow throughout the morning. Probably topped out at 23-24. Used my quad to smash it down so the snow blower would work. I should get a plow for the quad.

Yeah the neighbor started with his snowblower and ended up with a shovel. I measured 26" out front and 23" out back

Got about 2' all over the place. Driving to work at 9am meant going over 8" of unplowed roads since my township decided to plow around midnight last night (fortunately downhill to the main arteries which were plowed), through a 4' drift left by the plow in the morning when they gave up coming up my road which felt like the movies going through barrels with water or what not in it, and then in to work. Roads were passable in my fwd sportscar, but not great. Nowhere to park once I got to work, so I did what I could, and accelerated into a snowbank off the road (pics later tonight). Fortunately, I work at a group home for youth, so had tons of labor to go dig me out later tonight when I felt like it. It took us about 6 hours to dig our driveway and alley out, and to get our 15 passenger tabogan (aka rwd van) to where it could get on the road if we needed it to.

Glad I live where I live.....only 13" :)

At least this time you are. You guys almost always get that lake effect stuff that we don't. :)

Ray, if they were without power a lot of people wouldn't be able to see this :fun4: I guess the era of the iphone is among us. Do we know anyone from Canonsburg, that seems to be the area hit hardest by all this.

I was posting using my phone the whole time our lower was out :)

we went out to eat in cannonsburg/mcmurray and many if the people at the restuarant were there because they had no power. I don't know anyone who lives there with a tank though. Friends of ours with a fresh water tank in Elizabeth have been without power since Friday night.

Mike Centore is from Canonsburg, I'm down in Washington we have about 2+feet. I lost power from Friday 10:30pm-Sat 11am. Wrapped the tank in blankets, battery air pump and vortech battery backup. Tank went from 81 to 78 in 12 hours.

I haven't been here. Just working and puttin in overtime. Here's some pics from New Ken.

Global Warmming my butt!!!!!!

We had the generator on standby but we never lost power; however, large parts of Cecil/Canonsburg are still without it. Though we did lose cable for a couple hours on Saturday. How are the roads were you guys live? Some of the roads here are still snow covered.

Roads are clear here in USC now. Took them a long time to salt though, just plowing fir the most part.

Cranberry Area is still hit and miss on roads. Some places are clear and dry, other areas are compacted about an inch thick and feel like driving on old cobblestone roads.

and now I just saw the news and another 3-6 tuesday and weds?????? This is getting out of hand.
