How big is this guy? He looks huge!

I know these guys get really big, ~5-6". Does anyone have one that large, or do you think they're going to max out at the 3.5-4" in captivity that most of the larger ones seem to be?

I joined the club couple of weeks ago.Today my Borbonius Anthia decided to cooperate and I was able to take some pictures. He is very small at this moment, about 1.5in.,but eats like pig and not afraid of any fish I got in my DT.Enjoy.

Where are you guys finding these? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

You should be able to start seeing them. This is the time of the year that they being collected.I would just ask your LFS if they can get one for you. This is what I did.

I've had a 3" male for 3 yrs now. he's doing great. Doesn't bother any of my tangs or bartletts anthias or clowns. He has his own cave and he's happy and comfy. He colored up more when i started to introduce more varied foods.

Great looking fish everyone. I have been wanting a pair of these, but I currently have a male Lyretail and 3 female Lyretails in my 90g. Do you think they will all get along?

Thanks.

I have one Lyretail anthia male, one Sunburst anthia that were established before I added my borbonius anthia. They never even acknowledged my new addition, totally ignored by them.My yellowtail damsel was somewhat aggressive at first, but couple of days later it stopped and they live in perfect harmony now.

Still can't find any of these bad boys anywhere...Any ideas? The local fish store can order one but he said they are $300. Does that sound right?
