Official CMAC 2012 Thread

Hello....Let me first say that i do apologize is these questions were already answered....

1. Is there a list of vendors that will be at the conference?

2. Do we have to pay $30.00 even if all we want is to visit the vendors area and skip everything else?

Thanks for the help

Suicideissleep,

I emailed the BoD with your question - I don't know the answer and it's an important detail for sure - especially if you were planning on leaving early for any reason.

Someone from the BoD will post the answer here ASAP.

I'm posting the speaker time slots now and I wanted to let you know that your question wasn't ignored.

Raffle - do you need to be present to win? Good question...

Raffle - do you need to be present to win? Good question...

No - you DO NOT have to be present to win!

We understand that some folks can only come for the earlier hours of the event but still would like to participate in the raffle. This way you still can!

We will have to take your winnings home and contact you to arrange a pick up, but we're willing to do that. If necessary we'll even ship the item to you at your expense if that's the easiest way to get you your winnings.

If you want a friend to take your winnings home - make sure they have the 'keep this' half of the ticket simply to match up the winning number.

If you leave before the raffle...here's what you need to do:

While you do not have to present to win, you MUST put your full name and best phone number to reach you on the back of each ticket you enter in our raffle.

Please make it legible so we can easily reach you. We will have pens available at our raffle booth.

If you plan to see the raffle through to the end, you don't have to put your name on your tickets to keep things moving along, but it seems that taking the time to put your name & phone number on the back of the tickets will be worthwhile.

If we pull the winning ticket and there is no name and phone number on the back of the ticket, we will call out that winning number, if no one present responds in a reasonable amount of time, we'll simply pull a new winning ticket until some yells "Hey, that's me!" or we draw a ticket with a name/number written on the back - if we call your name and you're present - come forward to verify the winning number and we'll hand you your sweet new raffle prize.

That was a good question - I hope my explanation is clear as I want everyone to be a winner on Sunday!

Lol u said we don't have to be present to win but then u said if someone doesn't yell hey that's me then you'll simply pull another ticket sounds like you have to be there unless your name and number is written

That's exactly what we need - I'm tired, I can't tell if I made a mistake or not.

I honestly took a bit of time to think that post through.

I did say "but it seems that taking the time to put your name & phone number on the back of the tickets will be worthwhile."

I was really answering the original question from the point of view of just a few people not being able to stay through the end of the raffle and the majority of the attendees sticking through to the end so you can walk out with your raffle prize in hand to mess around with Sunday night.

Putting your name and number on each ticket you enter would secure our ability to call your name out (if you're there or not) as the winner along with a phone number for us to reach you at.

That's good if you have to leave early or if you're in the room! But...it's not mandatory for those present.

Worst case scenario - you bought a ton of tickets (thank you!!), you planned to stay to the end, you didn't put your name and number on the tickets, but you get a call and you need to go home immediately. In this case, please, find a friend and give them your tickets so they can match your ticket numbers to the numbers called out.

This thread has answered all of my questions but one.
How will mohegan sun feel about my carrying a cooler through the casino?

Seems crystal clear to me.... We keep pulling UNTIL we get a ticket with a name and number on the back or until someone comes forward to claim the prize..

So you don't have to be there, but if you wont be there, make sure we can contact you via a name and number on the back of the ticket.

I would suggest having labels made with name, number and address printed on the label. That way you're not spending an hour writing your name on 50 tickets

sent from never never land...
