Here is my IM38 / Radion Pro setup.
Tank has been up since July 2012 and Radion was hung back in May. So far both the tank and light have surpassed my expectations. Only thing I would change, and probably will, is to buy/make a new stand and replace IM skimmer. I've had nothing but micro-bubbles and it's 6mos old. IM replaced the venturi and pump and it still blows tons of bubbles.
I'd like to find a skimmer rated around 75-100g and still fit in the rear chamber or hang on the back. I'm kind of interested in RO HOB super skimmer or the RO HOB 1000s. If anyone has one, let me know your thoughts.
Do you have the Mp10s in sync? If yes what mode? I've been running a steady long pulse (pink mode). I have 2 other small koralia nanos but I'm about to ditch them and go with another mp10 to reduce heat in the tank.

I have an aquamaxx hob-1 protein skimmer on the back of my nuvo 38, i love it so far!
Hi all, just set up a Nuvo 38 about 6 weeks ago. So far loving it. Added the midsize reactor and SkimMate. Had an issue with the skimmer where the lip on the pump was cracked causing micro bubbles galore. Emailed customer service, they sent me a new pump that day. Great customer service! Also had the issue with the reactor where pump didn't fit properly and would just fall off. 0 for 2 on accessories, but customer service was indeed excellent. Fixed reactor by adding a little superglue around the lip, let it dry, then put the pump in. Works perfect so far. Just didn't feel like bothering with getting a new one. If it becomes an issue in the future, I'll call customer service. So far though, I couldn't be happier with everything!

I had the same exact issue with the minimax reactor i bought last week last week. Stephen from IM was great and sent me a new adapter which works perfectly.

Has anyone made a mesh cover for their Nuvo Tanks? Don't want to use the glass one bc of heat issues. I'd like to get some fish that are known to be jumpers.

I use the intank media basket and refuge. In the basket i have filter floss on top, chemipure elite in the middle and purigen on the bottom.

The intank media baskets are one of the best upgrades you can do, imo. They give you much more room and flexibility in what you can run in the back compartment.
