Marc,

Actually that is pasted from the supplier and I forgot to pull it out. They have all kinds of errors in their list including so many wrong scientific names that it is difficult to research the animals before buying. Anyway, I would classify the Sea Hare as blobulous fuglier invertabrata.

Just one Question? (where are the pcitures of all these new guys) ????????:D :D :hmm6:
It's okay you can do it i know you want to. Call me a picture #hore!

total ****, that's for sure...

You see, to post pictures I have to:

1. Clean the glass
2. Set up the tripod
3. Set the white balance
4. Take 200+ pictures of moving animals
5. Load them onto my PC
6. Select the best
7. Resize and adjust photos
8. Publish them to a web site
9. Post them here.

It takes hours!! :D

So here is a quick shot I took last night, no white balance etc. but I thought to myself I may never see it in this position again. When I tossed this baby in it landed in the sand but quickly (not really) worked its way up into the flow of one of the Vortechs and spread itself to feed. I thought it was impressive...

Laurence: What mrcrab said! Sea hares look like rubbery rock with two ears sticking up. I will try to get a shot sometime and post.

I better not tell you what I did last night then. :D

They way i under stud it was that you stay at home so that you can feed our addiction? was i wrong ?
:bum:
Marc............ you say those thing to make us ask... i took the bait... what did you do last night ?:wildone:

Well, the mysteri popped its head out of a cave today so I am pleased that all 3 fish are doing fine.

The fox coral seems to be reviving and the elagance has really bloomed. The lobophylia also seems to be getting back to normal.

PS. Marc, nobody wants to know what the real inner-workings of your video sweat shop are. We just want to enjoy "your" work!

here is dumbhead. he cruises until I am seen.

for as cheap as these were I am happy with them. two will turn into nice coral.

Nice fish! Just got back from Mario's. He got in some sweet stuff. Very large montis and fungias. I bought everything except for a couple of brown frags I left for you. :D

bskiba,

You may want to take some small frags of good flesh from the #2 frag, Just in case that dies, you may be able to save the frags.

Yes I know but it really isn't advancing. I was going to frag and glue but it hasn't called for it yet. $10 each so I can't complain. they were bought as brown acro's and they will color up with time.

I started on the new look for my site. I was up all night. Here are some headers I made.

And then I made some buttons.

I do have a few pages completed, but they aren't public yet. When they are, you'll either just find them or you'll be directed to them via my Reef Logs.

well I stoped by this morning after a ferry ride and a hlaf hour drive behind a cement truck going 10 under. this tank is deeeeeep. the front to back on it is crazy. the skimmer is amazing also. I first saw a similar (mojoreefs) a year and a half ago and the bubble density is unreal. the lights are big and so is everything else. I was really impressed and give him an A+. cool tank.

BTW the intake from the overflow for the conductivity probe. why not put an inch peice of tubing on the intake to take water in higher. than the detritus wont go in and you wont have to drill.

Geez! That's a great idea. I can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks! :D

Well, it looks like I already lost a Sea Hare. This morning it looked all white. I pulled it from the tank and it seems to have regained about 10% of its color and that's it. Looks dead to me and I cannot find anything about how they sleep or if they have dormant stages.

Everything else looks good. Corals are all doing well. The Mysteri is coming out occassionally to check things out and the longnose hawkfish has been roosting high up on the overflow ledge. I watched it scoot along the entire overflow edge and eat pods all the way across...mmmmm, 8 feet of pods. That's got to be heaven right?

The only other issue is that I have not yet seen the naso eat. It is very docile and very curious about the other fish swarming to eat, but it has not done so yet. I have seen it pacing the glass so it still seems out-of-sorts. It's body is slightly pinched in the pectoral area too.
