I would say so! I really liked that one. Better than the Old Crustacean.

The Grand Cru is very very good but better than Old Crustacean? I dunno about that. More research is in order.

This is why I think I go through life surrounded by retards. While the Grand Cru is just brewed on one day in honor of some dimwitted Emperor we've never heard of, it does have a certain agability that makes it indeed near the very top of all the beers ever made or to be made in the WORLD.

But, to compare it to Old Crustacean is like comparing '97 Sandeman to a '63 Sandeman...they are two totally different species of which OC, by FAR, will kill significantly more brain cells. I know, because I am keeping count.

And just for that, I am logging in to my store server to do the 27 step end-of-month, while drinking Sherman's 3 Olives. How's that for sending up a Red Flag to the G-Men???

it's really hard to learn about this tank when all I see are posts that contain less than 5 words or posts that are TOTALLY off topic of the tank

Is this thread about a tank? :spin3:

What's funny about brain damage Barry is that I don't even remember that, yet I can remember the advice you gave me on how to get bubbles out of a syringe the easy way.

I am in the store this morning, feeling good, and getting things done. Somehow my pcAnywhere had been shut down AND my wife "forgot" to bring home the month-end instructions...I think she conspired against me. I'll have a nice package for you Sherman! :) Can't wait to show you my new flashlights...

Now you're gonna have everyone thinking we're a couple of heroin addicts!

couple of pics of current system so ya'lll know hat I am dealing with:

This is the two "60gpd" systems I have running off the now broken 8800 booster pump.

This is my ne 200g fiberglass RO/DI tank I need to plumb into the system:

This tank comes with plenty of BHs as well as a nice electronic float switch.

took me a while to get that Marc! :D

Hop, it is a total mess since I have barely been in my tank room in the last two weeks. I just have been so screwed up from my back that I couldn't even move the shop-vac out of the picture. I got the tank for $150 including the old-school UV sitting on top of the crate.

The nice thing about this tank is all the BHs including one out of the bottom with a nice valve on it, plus a good sized manhole on the top. Now the debate is whether to install it in the tank room, outside, or even as industrial art in the viewing room...I do have one more interesting idea I will share with Sherman when he comes by today.

you guys are sooooo darn funny:) I didn't know my statement would cause such a reaction though!!:)

I was sarcastically saying what I said but seriously though, after reading all the "LOUNGE" posts, I've already forgotten what thread I was inquiring about. oh well, guess I'll just go >deadhead< some more:)

Read that and then go deadhead!

Although my post was true, I didn't mean for you to take the brunt. I am discouraged with the issues I spoke about. But I was and still am on zero sleep as I had another friend and co-worker shot the other night. I've been working 20 hour shifts and my days off, plus full time school:rolleyes:

moving along now, since you're pretty much bang up Jonathan and not being able to moved around. you should look into getting a wheelchair and equipped it with all the goodies you need to get around and don't forget to call some friends over helping you build a ramp for fish room too :D . what is the tds meter reading for 200gal resin? i think with that particular size should be -20 or so  forgot to ask what is the first pic you post i cant seem to make it out

You guys can all bite me. Sherman came over tonight and helped me with my reactor. We started with a nice Belgian Blonde and finished with several Alaskan Smoked Porters. Did a water change and planned my next couple of moves.

Hop: Thought you werent working anymore? Are you back on the job?

Bart: First pic is my current RO/DI systems and just to the left you can see a little bit of my 96g RO/DI holding tank.

Today PT went well, and I am feeling better. I hate to say it but it seems that really good looking physical therapists seem to have a very positive affect on me. I got the usual sonic/electrical treatement and she added another 15 minutes to my workout...it just might be that this "injury" actually entices me to get in better shape. I used to be an extreme mountain biker...and then I got married.

Yeah. I got an attorney who helped me get injections that really help. I still need knee replacement, but they are hoping that these injections every six months can get me through for a few years or longer. I think I posted how exciting these shots are in one of my threads. Kind of like lava being injected into the center of my knee. They are not suposed to hurt, but they do! It's synthetic chicken juice:lol:

Busting our butts to keep the house right now! We'll worry about reefing later. Or we're selling the house and moving to Poulsbo:lol:
