num num...Actually they are doing fine. I have a couple in the overflow and maybe 8 in the fuge. The loner in the display is just the only one that seemed to be able to hold his own in there. That would be the Alpha molly!

But what fish in your reef actually eat the mollies?

I don't know if its good to feed mollys to the anemone.Do you mix up the diet and feed other types of food.I was at the pet store with my friend yesterday. He has 3 parrots and he wants to ween his African grey off of sunflower seeds. The woman at the pet store has 9 birds and one of the parrots she has was 10 years old and was fed only sunflower seeds. The bird has health problems from eating the same thing. The bird won't live is full life expectancy because of its diet. The previous owner already did the damage.Parrots are very picky eaters.

My anemones get a diet rich in all sorts of seafood. If you had been at the January PSAS meeting, you would know that!

I was asking because I'm thinking about raising some mollies for my FO tank and future seahorse tank.

I keep most of them in the fuge which gravity feeds into the display. I also have cleaner shrimp in there, and I feel this can be a good source of live food, and an occassional treat for my fish. :)

Well, no fuzzed out web cams here Chuck! :D

Lights just came on and the reef looks crystal clear. All fish accounted for, and even the cucmber that was out of the water for at least 1.5 hours is fine. I did fry a coral colony and a couple have some burnt tips. But the one that is mostly dead has live tissue at the base and in areas that were shaded, so I will leave it be for a while and see what happens.

Also, I don't think I thanked Sherman enough for his help. Without it this would have been a nearly impossible task for me.

Looks like it was already decided... ;)

Actually the Foxface will shed its slime coat occassionally, and did so last night. It looks like very thin tissue floating around in the reef. The first few times I saw it, I had no idea what it was. Yesterday, two fish tried to eat it at the same time and both spit it out.

:D my sailfin will eat almost anything, maybe when they're frighten it happens
