Yep! I just dump it in.

I haven't seen any Dow around; I'm using calcium chloride fromn a swimming pool place.

Made "the rounds"...
couldn't find any Dowflake or any of the substitutes listed in Randy's "Improved" formula.
But I did come up with a 50lb bag of...

Vaporizer Pro-Grade Ice Melt Pellet
94-97% Calcium chloride
1-4% water

just under $18

Although I am sure its gonna be fine...I posted in the Chemistry forum asking Randy for his approval.

Was wondering if anyone would ask....
Lowes in Nyskayuna...they have only one more bag left...just as you go in the door to the left. If someone goes for it, be sure it not the low-grade stuff they also carry.
Unfortunately, can't get any info on it...yet. Randy says without doing an analysis, can't be 100% sure. I'm gonna use it and watch closely.

Stuff looks almost exactly like Kent Turbo Calcium.
