Thanks, I bought mine through my LFS and the bulbs were extra but way I could customize the configuration to my taste. I am very happy with them so far.

I cut the acrylic for the overflow today and although it's not the purfect fix it does hide the plumbing.:) Also as you can see in the photos I ended up placing the vortechs higher than I had hoped to as I wanted all equipment out of sight but the rocks block the flow too much so I'll have to live with them being visible. Oh well it is what it is.

My prediction is that in short order, you won't really notice the Vortechs anymore. I understand where you're coming from of course, but I think in time they will just "blend in". Trust me, nobody's looking at your back glass thinking "tsk tsk, if only he hid those Vortechs a little better." :)

Thanks everyone.
Mark the transfer took me 3 days. I am still tinkering with placement on a few things so not all of them are permanently fastened yet.
Steve this tank is as big as I'm going so I will do some serious cutting in a year or so.

update.....the walls are now roughed in and tank header installed so I am almost ready for the finishing touches, The workbench is cut and ready for assembly. I need to have some electrical & plumbing stuff done before I finish it off.

I believe that I will have to come down to TX to work for frags...lol

It takes me forever just to putty down one frag... I cant believe the time it took you...

Also, if I don't glue mine down right way... something always knocks it down... a fish or snail...

No Problem in that area?

Tx? Do you mean Ab? (to be fair, most Albertans fancy themselves as the Texans of Canada, so it's a common mistake). Last time I flew from Calgary to Houston (couple weeks ago) there were no fewer than 6 Stetsons on the plane. Howdy Y'all ... eh? :)

(sorry for the interjection BTW). Just so this post isn't a complete waste of text, I hear ya on the "will work for frags" part. There is some sweeeeet candy growing in that tank I tell ya!

I can't believe how full your tank is already. That's nuts! Gorgeous, but I wish it was 4' longer and 4' wider. :D

No real issues with anything falling yet.

Thanks Marc and sorry my tank is too small for you by 4".
What I find the most interesting is that all those corals were packed into and intertwined in my old 130 gal. I was pleasantly surprized at some of the pieces I found in there that I had forgotten about that were doing quite well and at the same time heartbroken at some of the pieces I found that were overgrown and had died off. I lost a sweet purple horrida, my bubblegum acro, a pink/red rosaria & and a beautiful desalwi. There were a few others but those are the most noteworthy.
