i love this coral!!

Thank you guys.

Interesting development with the reef, tonight I saw some fry swimming around in the main display but I couldn't tell what they were. There are several fish that have been spawning so it's either my mandarins, orange spot gobies or perhaps even antheas or the clowns. I don't know and doubt they will grow big enough to find out with all the fish in there to eat them but I still think it's kind of cool.:)

It's 2009...to even post that without video is practically a sin! Sounds like an amazing thing to watch though.

I am very close to finishing the paneling, all that's left are some of the moldings. I snapped a few pix of the progress to give an idea of what it looks like.

I built this so I can have access from both sides and the front top area.

Anyway I think you can get the idea. The only place I don't have access from is the front bottom which I don't need since I can access the sump from behind.

They definately have similarities. Humilis tends to have branches a little more enlongated like this one in the front of this picture.

SIR WHAT KIND OF SKIMMER ARE YOU RUNNING?AND ARE YOUR STILL RUNNING 250 WATTS?
My skimmer is a Euro-Reef RC500 and yes I have 4x 250 watt MH mixed with 2x 150 watt MH and 12x 54 watt T5 bulbs.

I keep imagining it NOW! You've done an amazing job on the trim and made it really functional at the same time.

Can you post a shot from the opposite side of that carpeted room? Curious how it ties into the rest of your basement.

Love it!

i might switch to 250 myself because the electric bill are very expensive in so cal . i really love your tank so if i can to borrow some ideas. so what kind of calcium reactor and how many mp40 and tunze are you running!! i will have the same dimension on my upgrade i just need a much larger cal rx i was thinking of geo 818 but can a schuran jetstream 1 handle 550 gallon total mixed reef. i already get the skimmer rated for 1600 gallons and neptune apex controller planning to get a couple of tunze 6205 with 6 koralia 4 as a supplemental flow.

Thanks a lot for the compliment. Interesting idea, I'll snap a few shots when I get a chance.
