Started using bio-pellets last weekend to help control my nitrates since I have a well stocked tank. I started with just 550 ML which isn't even close to what is recommended to be running for my tank size however I wanted to start light and slowly work my way up over the next while. I am not trying to achieve a true ULNS I just want to keep my nitrate/phosphate levels down. Carbon dosing worked well in my old system so we''ll see how this new technology works in my present set up. I have placed enough coral pieces in the tank over the past few weeks that I don't feel like hanging my head in shame any more when I look at the tank, in fact I am starting to like how it looks again.:spin2:Thanks to all my friends that helped me get going again. Now I just need for things to grow & color up. Looking forward to next year at this time once things have grown out some.

what camera and lens are you using to take those great shots!!!!!!! do you use a tripod as well?

and I like a guy that doesn't give up.......dusts himself off and gets right back up again!

Good stuff Greg. I'm glad to see that your tank has stabled out and that you are posting pictures.

Thanks Mark. Your signature says the curse is a reality.... what happened with your tank? I've been busy & out of touch.

A few "space filler" zoas.

Unfortunately this little desi frag is not from the same source as my previous ones because my buddy also lost his colony this year however another friend was kind enough to donate one from his tank which looks great and I believe this variety has lots of potential as well. (thanks John):) Grow baby grow!

Sir,
I love the desawali
I had a tiny frag, years ago it's very slow growing acro.It fell on the sand and that's the end of it!
One of my favorite acro.
Also With all the zoa in your collection I assume that no more large angel?

Good luck with the rebuild

This summer my tank will be angels sanctuary hopefully.

I'm sorry for your loss Oldude! I've always enjoyed your tank.

May your tank rise from the ashes like a phoenix better than ever.

If I'm taking pictures it means I must be starting to have some fun again.

One step back, and two steps forward. I am glad to hear you are having fun again. Your last reef was amazing and I am sure your new project will be amazing as well.
