Oldude's new 400 gal tank build

Picked up this sweet purple&yellow Turbinaria reniformis from a friend this week and noticed it's hosting two little green crabs. Nature is pretty cool. (auto feeder had gone off just before I snapped the photo so please excuse the pellets on the coral, I chased the fish away before they got to eat them all.)

As is obvious from the pictures things are still trying to color up but it's nice to have things going in the right direction. Now if I could just figure out why the birdnests & stylos are not making it I could hopefully do something to fix it.

I thought that is what cross posting in other people's threads was for :fun2:

Ok I'll get over to your thread for a look, as I said I have been a little out of touch these days. (By a little I mean completely out of touch)That said you are welcome to give my thread a little hi-jack.

No problem Greg. I'm actually done posting in my thread. I'm just going to post pictures of my tank is other people's threads from here on out

Thanks you are very kind. Nitrates & phosphates are a little on the high side so I started running the bio-pellets, hopefully they will work out ok. My alk is at about 8 DKH

:( Not sure what the heck happened but my hammer puked out all it's polyps over the weekend so it's now pretty much just a dead skeleton. My mag was a bit low which I've rectified but other than that the only thing I've changed recently was I started running bio-pellets 3 weeks ago so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what caused this.
I've had that coral for over 6 years and I was very sad to see it go.
It was about 12" across, here is a picture of it from a while ago.
