Once bio pellets have seeded....

Bio pellets take 3 to 4 months to fully colonize the bacteria in the initial set up. Once they are going and you increase the dosage, how long does it take for the additional dosage to fully kick in? Please chime in.

I'm curious as well; thing is what would you use as a metric? nitrate? or phosphate?

As it is; I'm not sure what "line" you could draw using nitrates and phosphates as a baseline for pellet performance

I could see the interplay of variables being a lil tricky even if one were to assume a "zero slope" of either nitrate or phos as being evidence of requiring more pellets ....

interesting.....

I don't see how one could know as a generality too many variables: nutrient levels, flow, type of pellet etc.
