I would like to use a 6055 and a controller for flow in my 40 gallon breeder (36"L, 18"W, 16"H). Will one be sufficient flow for an sps tank, in addition, i'll have about 400gph coming from my sump. If this is not enough, will two 6045's be a better choice? Also, are the 6000's controllable?

6000's are controllable but I think to many they would just be to large a pump to look at in a 40g tank unless you could figure out how to hide it well. I think in a "perfect world" I would get two 6055's would get you plenty of random flow and hit all areas of the tank very well. Or maybe one 6055 and one noncontrollable nano either a 6025 or a 45
