One 6060 enough to keep detrituss off bottom of 75G BB ??

I have a 75g BB currently with 3 MJ 900's and 2 MJ 1200's and there is still a ton of detritus settling on the bottom. I want to make it so than NO detritus settles keeping the tank constantly clean. I have a good skimmer that can handle it.

I have heard that one single Tunze 6060 can provide enough flow to do this? Where would it best be placed? On the bottom of the tank in a corner?

It should help, Streams should be placed near the surface, it will reach the bottom from 4" below the surface. The problem with it actually getting all the detritus is that any time the flow is constant from one direction it is possible that pockets will form in eddies that collect detritus.

It should help? I guess I wasn't specific enough. I meant to take out all the Ph's and replace it with the single tunze, not ad the tunze in addition to the Ph's. So I take it, it would not be enough flow than? How about one at each end of the tank? Both about 4" below the water surface with one on the right side closer to the front and one on the left side closer to the rear.

I just can't promise you it will remove all the detritus. It will be a big step ahead of what you have but unless you have something to randomize flow in addition like a Seaswirl, or go with the 6000 and single controller it is likely a pocket of detritus will form because the flow will sweep it into one corner. You could also use 2 6060's on timers so one was on at a time. The flow isn't the question, it would be enough but when it all comes from one source, an eddie which piles the detritus is innevitable.

Wouldn't put them on timers reduce their life a lot? I am not big on the whole stopping/starting thing. Thats how things wear down quickly...

Were you saying it would be ok to use a single tunze as long as it has the controller, or were you saying on 6060 + a 6000 w/controller?

A single 6000 with single controller would do a better job than the 6060 because it can create a more random pattern. The 6060 will be fine if it is turned off no more than once an hour.

I have practically the same tank as kbreese. Would two 6060's be better than the 6000 with the singlecontroller? I got an opinion already but I still want to hear from you. Also, could I go for more flow? I'll be doing an sps tank and I'm barebottom.

The 6000 is better, you definitely don't need more than 1 though, it might be nice to have two and alternate which one is on but that will be a lot of flow.
