OK I will check my alk and all too.Looks like stn, not bleaching from light.
^^Doesn't look like bleaching to me either...
Humm... I got this from a well know person on here and he has good ratings. Let me check all my levels again.I have burned my fair share of acros and they always burn from the tip down, never as in your pic. I would frag off as much good tip that is left and use very little glue to attach it to a new tile, i have seen the odd few frags react badly to super glue gel and/or epoxy when it is bunched up around the frags base tissue. Just some things to consider and i hope you can save that little guy.
Yep. He is loosing tissue, not bleached. Chances of recovery on such a small frag are minimal but not impossible. Frag off the healthy part and put it in a nice calm place away from powerheads.
Based on what I see in pictures, the set up is somewhat new, no? Little to no coraline, some algae growing on rocks. May not be an ideal condition for small and still weak SPS...
Yep stn, it happens sometimes. You can try to save it. Make sure you cut where it still good tissue and reglue.
