thanks. nice tank btw

You're welcome. So far I love the light, but still experimenting with the dimmers to find out what the corals like best. I'll be honest the spread is not as wide as it was with my cheap knock off without optics, causing me to move my frag rack front and center to get it into full light. Light penetration is awsome though as it lights up the sand bed WAY better than my other chinese fixture.

Thanks for the compliment- I will love my tank more once I get a hang of the chemical balancing- getting tired of Cyano and other nuisances, but I will get there at some point.

Looks very nice.

Only suggestion, and not sure if its possible, but I would seperate them a little that way you have more light on the outer edges since they will overlap a bit in the center.

+1, seperate them about 3 to 4 inches and you should have a better spread. Right now it's a bit dark on the edges. Or you can lift them up another 6 inches.

so funny story. I put them togeather to see see how it would look, Moved it after posting this back to normal and the stand on the right light gave out somehow and led's went for a bath :( Have been in contact with the seller, and tho i wont get a new light, they will basically replace the guts for free, or so they say.

You learn from experience and mistakes. Always place a net or board covering the water when working on your lights. Sorry bro.
