opinion on lights.

I have similar led to those. My tank is a 75 rimless. Most of my corals are sps. Now as growth goes my sps are growing slow. As for stunner and zoas and other lps yes they are growing fast. I might go a different route. I love these leds but I guess my sps don't really do.
 
Are these evergrows or something else? I have a 90 and would plan on getting 2. I don't have sps the most demanding thing for light in my tank are bubble tip anenomes so these should do fine, and lower heat in my tank. Just not sure how far would these need to from the water?
 
Not sure on dimensions for a 90. But I have one of the old Chinese LEDs on my 65 (36Lx18Dx24H) and get spread across it all with it about 8-12 inches off the surface.

90 is basically tall 75g. Same foot print which is 4ft long
so yea, 2 should he fine and yes, it can grow pretty much anything. Is it most effective leds? No, it's not. But on a cheap budget, it can get the job done. I'm a cree man and I prefer Rapids however I'm giving you an honest opinion when I say that this can grow corals.
 
Thanks siptang, I know they arn't the most efficient, but like you said on a budget. If I wern't on a budget the dimmable onyx looks sweet, but thats almost 3x this cost. So I figure i'll budget my way in to LED's first and eventually down the road may upgrade :-)

Unless I am confused as I see you asked abotu 29g lights and the ebay link posted is for a lot of 2, so for a 29 you'd only need 1 (and there are listings for singles) but unsure if thats too much light for a 29 maybe someone else can chime in.
 
Yeah there is another listing for a single. It says on his eBay page ships for US but if you look closer he is located in China.
 
the link i listed was for 2 yeah, but i ordered monday and they arrived today (well kinda, went to wrong address but thats my fault). Will have more info/pics when that person gets home i hope lol. the link i posted shipped from NJ
 
I did get mine but have been working most afternoon/evening shifts soi haven't even been home while lights are on. Will have pics up Monday or Tuesday.
