like the title says. where is your optimal spot? I had mine near the top by a K4 and it didnt like it too well. Its now a pale color so I moved it to mid tank and some random flow. How long till it colors back up you think?:hmm5:

There are about 50 thing named "frog skin" what thyp of coral is this.Acro Monti Softy Chalice...ect.?

and there is only one ORA frogskin, which is quite obv an sps. It's an Acropora and sorry I have no clue what kind of conditions it prefers. Shot in the dark here, but if I had to guess I'd say moderate to high light with good indirect flow.

Hey thanks Animan....never knew I had such a rare ORA acro that no one has ever heard of it and thinks its an LPS...man anyone want a frag....LOL Oh yeah ORA has only ONE thing named Frogskin

there's only ONE ORA Frogskin which is clearly stated in the title.

its fairly new and seeing as ORA isn't keen on identifying species and specifics I think you'll likely have to find out for yourself what light and flow placement is best for now.

I have an ORA Frogskin and it's about 10" down below a 400w 20,000K MH in a high flow area. I like its dark green color. It came to me complete with AEFWs so I had to dip it repeatedly and eventually ended up cutting off just the very top 1/2" and throwing the rest away. The wee bit of tip is starting to encrust and grow now. :)

Here is mine :D

Got it about 15" from 250w Radium under a lumenbright

So what is the consensus? Low middle tank for the bright yellow green color? I have ATI T5 8 bulber. Mine is just kind of sitting there slowly losing color about 16 inches from light mid tank. Maybe I need to move it to a higher flow area. Polyps just barely peek out.

I've had better luck keeping mine down low, with best coloration when it's placed on the substrate. Polyp extension on mine is minimal at best.

Mixer911, are you sure that is a frogskin? The brown polyps and lack of yellow tips have me wondering.
