ORA Hawkins Blue: Hardy or not?

Here's a shot of mine.......this isn't the newest up to date pic, but mine is around 3 years old and I've only fragged it a few times...............I've heard some stories of Hawkins colonies RTNg from fragging.

Very underrated acro and one of my favorite ORA's

I bring this thread up because I got a frag a few weeks ago in a frag swab. It is doing well, and I like it very much. :)
It seem like it is a touchy Acro and I will need to be careful with it rather than aggressively frag it like the rest of my Acro.

ugh, man does this bring up bad memories. Just recently lost a 2 year old colony I took from one branch to a softball size. One of my favorite acros of all time. Can't wait to try again!

I have fragged mine a few times, and it get hits often cleaning the front glass. The blue tort, and Hawkins touch without issues. I keep the green tort cut back.

I placed my Hawkins fairly high in the tank when I got it, after seeing some up top in other tanks that looks lovely. I'm now reading it's a lower light Acro. I understand they're adaptable, and mine is still small but with great color and PE. Should I risk irritating it by lowering it 6 months after acquiring it? Or let it be where it is? Haven't seen much growth from it but other more light hungry Acropora in its immediate vicinity are growing fine.
