Ok got these two corals on thurs and they haven't opened up but I heard it can take a few weeks to open. I didnt want to hog up Newreeflady post with my problems :D

Well I tried what Newreeflady said to do about moving the coral to a container and I fed them and this is what happened..

The blacksun came out more and more and the orange is just starting to come out a lil as I am typing this. Thnx for the GREAT advice. Now I want to get some dendros :)

You and me both (about the dendros).

They look like they're getting ready to open for you. Congrats! Just so you know, my micrantha is far quicker to open than the orange or yellow tubastreas.

I heard Dendros are expensive also. See I thought it was the other way around that the orange would open up faster. My orange swells up but never came out. I'm going to get some different foods wed for them and see what happens.

Use turkey baster and direct feed Cyclopeeze. Just shoot in general direction. Within 10 min, will open. Then feed Mysis.

Mine is out in direct light 400watt 10k. After awhile , it will open consistently on its own

I'll try that also. I need to find a place that sells cyclopeeze in my area.

fishnugget you have a black or orange?

The freeze dried work great for me. I find the frozen to be a pain, as breaking them into usable sections is a lot of work.

update: The black is now coming out when the lights are on and I fed the orange the other nite in a container and it came out all the way. Next is the red suncoral I seen on this forum :)
