Has anyone ever heard of this acros ? I seen a pic of one the guy said that it was a Orange crush. Pretty sick looking acro.

Yep that's where I seen it. Anyone know where I can buy it at ? I did a Google search and can't seem to be able to find it fs.

I think if you want it you will need to get it from Aquavista99 or one of the people he has sold frags to. I have never seen it for sale elsewhere.

Ok thanks. Unable to buy yet. I guess ill just have to wait till I'm able to buy items. Than keep my eyes open for one

Email Steve Garrett (Garrett's Acropolis). He has a couple varieties of A. florida (which I'm fairly sure the coral you're after is a color form of), one with pinkish tips, the other with orangish tips. The tips get brighter under high light, and frags of this coral are dirt cheap -although it's fairly uncommon, I think. I just saw the pink-tipped var at SW Coral Farmers Market two weekends ago, and its pretty nice. I picked up a 'frag' of the orange tip for 25 bucks - it's like 4" long! I don't know if Steve is willing to ship, though.

Yes, I also agree its A. florida. I have a piece also.

Go to his acro section, A. florida is about halfway down. The photos he has up don't show the tips very well. Trust me though, they look just like the coral you're looking for, and you can get it in with either pinkish or orangish tips. Again though - don't know if he ships. Just to reiterate this - this is not uncommon coloration for A. florida. Just give it a ton of light and you get the orange tips.

Thanks for the link. To bad I'm on the other side of the country. Wish he would ship.

Just my luck I find this piece and am unable to get it.

Try looking in your local or regional reef forum - try the regional ones here on RC. Although A. florida appears to be fairly uncommon, if you send out feelers, I'm sure you would be able to find a piece local-ish.
