orange spot blenny died..... never ate??

I have lots of macro growing and also fed Julian Sprung sea veggies but I never saw it eating anything. Got the fish from DD, looked healthy, none of my other fish bothered it (potters angel, red velvet wrasse, pair lyartail anthias, pair snowflake clowns, red mandrin). Is there something I could have done to get him to eat? All my other fish eat great.

What are you feeding the other fish? You could have tried some garlic on the food to entice it to eat.

I feed Rogers Reef but this guy is strictly vegetarian. My Potters lived off of what was growing in my tank for 6 weeks before he started eating forzen food.

I would communicate with DD as it presumably was eating before they shipped it. Perhaps something happened in shipping or acclimation.

I've tried them two times before but they both ended up dying. One time was from ich I believe. The other one was always skittish and never really ate. Died mysteriously.

some blennies are hit or miss with food IMO. Some are fat and will eat anything.. others are finicky and will not eat unless you have film algae on your walls.
