Osmolator pump failed..

Is it normal for these pumps to fail after just one incident of low water in the resevoir?

Came home and the low light was on, when I refilled the resevoir the pump did not start up. I have tried a few timesand the low light will just start blinking after 10 minutes of not pumping...

It is only a few weeks old....

Double check the wire connections, that would be very odd. The pump should handle running dry without incident.

Does this ever occur?

Because it was pretty straightforward, the pump resevoir ran low and then the pump did not work once it was refilled... quite a bummer, I was just getting used to being lazy..lol

It is pretty rare, if you will just double check that the connector is clamped down on both ends, what I usually see cause this is haveing the clamps on the insulation rather than the wire. If that isn't it, PM me an address and I will send a new pump.
