osmolator

yes, I found that to avoid the pump from getting stuck, the trick is to always keep it submerged. I have a calcium dispenser attached to the osmolator, and from time to time I shake the dispenser to mix the calcium contents. When I do so, I make sure to avoid pulling the osmolator pump outside the water, otherwise I get the air bubble issue.

last time the pump got stuck was when the 5 gallon jug was pretty much filled. So.... As long as the the pump is under water there will be no air bubles? Could it be a problem with the pump?

How long is the hose run and where is the end point, is there anything inline, a check valve or kalkwasser reactor?

Thanks for the response it is connected to a check valve. Check valve goes to a kalk reactor. To get the tubing that came with the osmolator I used the same 1/4 tubing from my ro/di filter.

What type of kalk reactor and check valve are you using? My guess is that the air is not completely purging out and I might try running it without the kalk reactor as a test. The reactor or check valve may be trapping some air that is staying in the line or placing too much back pressure on the unit.
