OT: 2015 Dodgers Rule Thread

Check on CL. I also use vividseats multiple times.

Going tomorrow, gonna see Richard/wishin2boutside, who's also going and sitting just a few sections down :) hoping seats next to me are empty so we can hang out

walk off balk!
At this time, I'll take whatever win we can manufacture. I'm just not onboard the DM train. Really don't get a 79 strikeouts in <70 games guy in the leadoff spot and continuing to go with Rollins at top of order at times and even when he's at the bottom keeping the bat in his hands in clutch situations. That's just for starters.

I need five Dodgers ticket for this month or next month, any hook up here?

I give DM some room for error since he is somewhat handcuffed by the FO. For example, you have to play Rollins (GM gave up a talent to get him), but DM doesn't have to bat him 1st or 2nd. Rollins should be 7th or 8th almost always.

If he doesnt start hitting in a few weeks, maybe a 15 day trip to the "DL" to get Seager up here for a few looks is a good idea.

I can't wait for Seager to come up and Joc is a DEFINITE improvement over that other dude we had :lol2:

I don't see this FO as one that holds sentimental value to players or is afraid to say they didn't make the best deal. Just ask Matt Kemp. Move JT to SS for time being and lead him off and move JP back down to six.

hes a great CF and Matts a great RF. I think offensively he will be but there's good and bad about both at the moment offensively. don't forget Kemp had a heckuva year last year overall

Lets go Giants!!!!!!

Look foward to seeing you Rik, need any frags?
So should we bet first to score buys the other a chilled beverage?-).

We are throwing Frias, so I think we have a pretty good idea who'll be scoring first hahaha!

I'm good on frags but thanks Richard. Looking fwd to seeing you. I'll have the family so you'll meet my mystery wife.

Go dodgers!

@richard... terrible series.

That being said, this team is again directionless in June. What I don't understand is why the team who has "unlimited resources" is fine throwing AA arms in a major league starting rotation.

Bolsinger has been great, but lets not forget the fact he has been a journeyman and its only a matter of time.

Frias - mentioning his name is enough said.

Not advocating a trade for Hamels, although it would be welcome, but the team has been sitting on Zach Lee for way too long. At some point he's ready for this team or he's ready to start for another ballclub.

Always buy seats through them.

DM has stood up for himself before, remember the awkward end to the 2013 season where he publicly lobbied for an extension with deer in the headlights Ned next to him.

At some point with Rollins consistently batting below the Mendoza line you have to sit him or as suggested batting him 8th. Before long AJ Ellis is going to have a better batting average than Rollins.

I couldn't agree more!! So well said.

Great game yesterday. Good seeing you and meeting the wife. It was a cooker there.

Yes it was and great seeing you. I could've left in second inning and wouldn't have missed a thing.....except a lethargic lineup and more runners left on base. I have now gone to two Frias games and have been treated to 17 earned runs in 5 innings. The moron can't even bunt off a pitcher whose 79-80 mph fastball couldn't break a glass. I will not attend any Dodger games with that gascan on the bump. I'd rather watch t ball

So when do you guys think we clinch?

Since we play the Giants and our magic number is 2, a win against them counts as 2.

That said, I'm banking on them doing it tonight (Greinke) while we're at ACDC concert (@ DS).

RIP Giants

Hope you're right but not convinced. I'm not even convinced we will win one in SF. DONNIE must go. He's managed September like last year and year before that, BADLY! He again shows no loyalty to the guys that got them to September and I think you can see it in the teams lack of enthusiasm. I don't think it's a good locker room. I feel bad for Ethier especially! The guy has been the Dodgers mvp position player and he sits every lefty that throws. If I were Bochy or rest of teams, just throw all lefties and you get Ethier, Crawford etc on the bench and you get Pederson and Heisey. What gets me is Heisey has a .165 average overall and Ethiers hitting .220 against lefties so it makes no sense to sit him. He's still a better option. You won't find a bigger fan then me and I'm hopeful since odds are on our side but even if/when we clinch I don't see them getting past the Mets, especially since Donnie has managed to manage them to losing home field advantage in first round at this point.
