that's why you should keep one on your hip, in the car and several round the house... a few at the office as well

I couldn't agree more with you! Guns are definitely meant to hurt people, people that intend to do physical harm to you.

Glad you and your family is safe Steve. Too bad you didn't have a chance to teach him a lesson by unloading a clip into him.

Man thats crazy Steve! I'm just glad too that you and your family is ok, think of what could have happened if there was 2 of them.
Anyway, I have a 9mm with me, a round chambered, all I do is flip off the safety, but then I have to live with that the rest of my life so I think sometimes its better to hand over the material things and not have to look over your shoulder the rest of your life wondering when the dead guys brother is gonna sneak up and pop one into you.............
Anyway, be careful out there man!!

Chris

I don't believe in guns..

I have definitive proof that they really exist.

Steve,

Glad to hear that everyone is OK.

Guys, thank you so much for all the in put.

IMO, guns is not good but not bad either depend of which purpose you are using it for. Many people hurting themself due to the lack of training or complacency.

i carry 2 guns at all times steve. :)

I can never stress practice enough

trying to use a gun in a high stress situation with out practice, would almost be as dangerous as driving a car in a high stress situation without practice

again, glad to hear you are all right... is the wife freaked out?

I am glad to hear that no one was injured. I've been held at gunpoint three times. Twice by crackheads and once by a bunch of cops in a case of mistaken identity and it really does suck. It messes with you mentally, but in time this too will pass.

I don't really believe in guns after watching people get shot in killed in front of me at parks.

I do believe in other types of security though. Some of which in this case could or could have not worked... and that is simply having trained dogs.

When I get my own place, I'll have a few dogs to be around the premises and family.. Belgian Malinois, Pitbull, Cane Corso, Presa Canario, German Shepard and a few others.. of course I would need some land as I build up in dogs lol. But someones first instinct if being barked by one of these or any dog in general is probably run.

Glad you and the fam are ok. I would be enraged if someone threatened my family at gunpoint, yet happy to live by letting the situation assess itself by complying.

Hey Steve, glad no one got hurt!

On a side note, you do realize that having a gun inside the house would not have changed the course of things, right?

Hey,

Didn't you get a new dark colored Bavarian car recently?

:smokin:

I'm closing this before it degrades any further.

Racial comments like one made earlier an unwelcome.
