OT but im so excited.

I was in class today (Le Cordon Bleu) and one of my chefs came up to me and asked if i was busy friday (tomorrow). I told her I didnt have anything planed, so she told me to meet her at the school around 3:30pm and expect to be gone till about 2am. I said sure, turns out she picked me and 8 other people from the school to go work on south beach with Emeril Lagasse for a Food Network event. To me this is very exciting becuase he is the one who got me into culinary and the reason i want to become a chef. On top of that I get to miss class for it and I get an automatic A for the day. Now, hopefully I dont cut myself or look stupid tomorrow

That is great, let us know when it airs on the Food Network. You are in a rewarding profession i went to an event last night and got to see two executive chefs work their magic. How they set up a line and had each helper work a different part of the presentation. The end result was a delicious beautiful dish.

congrats, my parents are going to the food and wine festival also since my mom won a pair of tickets from channel 10, otherwise i dont think they would have gone at like $180 a ticket or something like that lol

yeah it is super expensive but my wife is really into the food network stars and has wanted to go for a few years, it was like $400.00 for the two of us.
