Hi,I have some questions and i need help :(
Im moving to Chicago in the next couple months. Im looking for a cheap apartment for me and my bf. We just need small apartment, 1 bed 1 bath for 2 peoples.
We are going to study in Moraine Valley College, anyone know any apartments around that area ? ( Mokena, Orland Park , College area, etc...), the closest is the better.
Im thinking the best way to move my 75gal rimless tank with me. It is really tough for us :(
Thanks again

How far a trip will it be? Is livestock part of the planning, or is it tank only? I don't know too many people in that area, but I'm sure the community will have ideas. Welcome to the area (soon).

Thanks everybody. My budget is around $500-600/months. Im keep searching, i will give them a call tomorrow for more information.

You can also look in Palos Hills and Hickory Hills. Not sure about any prices, but I live right in your area (about a mile away from MVCC).

Doubt your gonna find apt for 500-600. Market right now is around 950 for two beds, so your looking around 700ish on a single room

You wont find much out here for that price range. The Chicagoland area is one of the most expencive places in the country next to New York and Cali to live. That being said good luck with the move and stay out of the southside of the Chi.

as of today..... from http://www.heyjackass.com

Its a war zone in certin parts of the city. stay in the burbs and you should be alright.

Is that price a real thing around here? A one bedroom in wicker park is $1200+ if you even want to think about things like a dishwasher...

I know in my area a 1 bedroom apartment is like $800 I got lucky to find a 3br house for rent for $900 from a private landlord.
