so once again, it's another OT thread from me because well i guess i gotta find another route in life since it doesnt seem like CHP is gonna work out. What's the quickest and easiest major in college.

Try Psychology that is the route I took after getting tripped up in Chemistry 413 and ditched Biology as a major.

Why not do something that makes you happy? You aren't going to do well in anything you don't like.

+1... I am going through the same thing right now! But I believe you have to find what you would LOVE to be your job, not just what you love to do. I am facing that problem with being a Music Major at CSULB. I love music and performing, but don't think i want to dedicate the rest of my life to fighting for jobs...

Just keep looking! Good luck!

there really is no major i like, i just want to get done with college and be on my way. start a career, make some cash. then venture off into some sort of business.

Unfortunately, most of the time in life, doing something that one enjoys to do or selecting the easiest major in college will not bring enough bacons and breads to the table.....

Agreed. I just turned 38, and am starting to think about a mid life crisis. I'm sick of hating work, regardless of how much money I make.
I'd like to do something I enjoy. Unfortunately, most things don't pay much. Opening my own LFS would be cool, although I'm not sure how much anyone really makes.

I posted this in the CHP thread..

If you want a job that is ALWAYS hiring and pays VERY WELL become an RN. It takes the same time as BA and requires some general Ed classes that you probably have already taken...

do what you love when you get off of work... get a job that will make a good living for yourself.

+++++++++++1!!!!!

This is SO True! If your studying something your interested in, not only will it come easier to you (than something your not 100% interested in) but, when you get out of school it wont be like "going to work." Do something you love daily, that's the best career you can have. Regardless of what it is, or what anyone else says...

Im doing Marine Biology right now. It is not too difficult, and its ENTERTAINING more importantly. I hate my english and other general classes, but the life science classes certainly are not bad at all. Definitely go with something thats intersting, rather than easy. Thats what makes it easy... the fact that youre enjoying it.

you're correct that RN are needed but as far as well paid im not to sure about that. I have alot of RN come to my shop and they always talk to me. Some of them even have a second job.
