OT: Electrician in Naperville

I need to find a decent electrician in the Naperville area to extend or add a new circuit into my attic (2-story house) and install a ceiling fan.

I've hired a few in the area for different jobs and wouldn't use any of them again.

looking for someone who does good work with a fair rate, who won't drag the job out.

nice pic of how I don't want this job to go. I'd really like to see the work done by the weekend if possible. It's in the way of two other projects that need to be completed.

Translation: wife won't let me work on aquariums until ceiling fan is installed :D

Bump for Phil

I wasn't counting any of the things I want/need to do with my tank!

Current Honey-Do List:
1. Install Ceiling Fans
2. Paint 2 Rooms
3. Install 1,800 sq ft of flooring
4. Put house back to normal
5. Do spring landscape work

and a few other odds and ends

klm - funny, but I don't think it will work. My wife would see through that instantly.

The builder used the circuit which serves both the master bedroom and bathroom for the attic. Since then three ceiling fans, an attic fan and a whole house fan have been added to the circuit, so I have to be careful not to turn on too many things or the breaker pops.

I don't have an easy way to bring another circuit up to split the load. If it were just a fan I could take care of that myself. Once the new circuit is installed, I'm going to take most of what is in the attic and put it on the new circuit to alleviate the overloading problem; but that is something I can do myself on my own schedule.

at any rate, I've got someone coming over tomorrow to quote the work and maybe complete it... hopefully that will work out.

if i was you i wouldn't get the fan put in. then you won't have to do the rest of the stuff on the list.
+1. Good luck. Finding a dependable contractor is a pain in the behind.

I got a great referral and the work was done last night. Thanks everyone. Painting commenced today. Flooring tomorrow.
