OT: EZ-UP tents

Looking to get an EZ-UP shelter / tent. Does anyone know of a good place to get them from: amazon? ez-up.com?

Also, trying to decide between ExpressII / Express III / Dome II.
Just looking for something more on the portable side, to use at the beach, picnics, and of course frag swaps

Thanks!

costco has a 10 x 10 ez up like canopy for $225.00

It's actually cheaper at the ez-up site. the 10 x 10 there is 199.00 by itself and 249.00 with the side walls, bag, and other accesories.

Pep boys has a 12x12 slant leg canopy in this week's circular for 60 bucks with rebate. Not an ez up brand, however.

Ben, look at Sportmart/Sports Authority the past couple of weeks they have been on sale I got the 10x10 for $70.00 and last week they had them advertised for the same price but you get 4 folding chairs with it.

I dont know why they call it "easy up". Its a PITA to set up by yourself. If you want a trully "easy up by one person" go to walmart and get one thats called "frist up". These are way easier to ste up with one person. Wallmart carries the 10 x 10 for about $90. If you want to buy a "eazy up" i got (2) 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 that you can have for $50 each.

This winter Big Lots had them for $39. I don't think it was the EZ-UP brand, though. Summer's here; so they are gone, unless you local one has some still hiding behind the camping gear.

We use a Caravan brand canopy at festivals. Well worth the $200 at Costco. Came with the bag w/ wheels and 4 walls. Plus if it dies on you, there's always a wonderful return policy.

Thanks for all the feedback, looks like I got to decide whether I go to Costco , Sportmart, Pepboys, or Walmart :eek2:

Now that you mention it, I think I saw it in the ads, and did not think much of it at the time :(

Do you like the "first-up" brand better than the ez-up?

Hmm I though the EZ-Up are supposed to be the easiest to setup? Thanks for the offer on the EZ-UP, I'll send you a PM.

Jeff, how do you like that canopy so far? I like the price range on these.

I use my Costco card a lot... their return policy is the best!
The caravans look very sturdy, I am sure it is worth the price... thanks.

Food-4-Less... $20.

Though it would help w/ the high desert sunshine, but the high desert wind picked it apart... lol.

The real cheep ones are usually white. You do not want a white one. The sun will come right through it.

i have used sereral pop up tents over the years. The ones that they have at costco are definetely the best as far as canvas, but really expensive. The only down side is that they are really heavy to lug around even if the bag has wheels. The ones that they sell at wallmart are light and the easiest to set up. you dont even need another person to set it up. Really. i set mines up in minutes all the time. The bag has wheels on in to make moving it around easier. "eazy up" vs "first up"...."first up" the winner
