OT: Free Cat

Allons-y!
Not what you think it is :)

Please let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested in adopting Bubba, a 5 year old male neutered cat. He has a lot of personality and makes a great companion. Unfortunately, my fiancee is terribly allergic and the friend who I had caring for him for the last 6 months has to move. Please drop me a line if you're interested. In the alternative, let me know if you are aware of any shelters in CT that are "no-kill" Thanks in advance folks!

Thanks a bunch David. He is a great cat indeed which makes this even more difficult for me :( He is definitely used to being around other cats as he was raised with another cat. He's strictly indoors at the time but for some reason, I don't think he'd mind going out from time to time :)

Yes, that picture was taken about 3-4 years ago. I'm afraid that Bubba has put on a little weight since then so clearly, feeding is not a problem :D

lol....I will let you know later if my friend is interested in him. In the mean while I know of a shelter down here and could give them a call to see what exactly their policy is.

the meriden shelter is definitely no kill, and i believe the one in newington is also. much closer for you. it's right off the berlin turnpike before route 175 i believe

Tell your fiancee that you are sorry that she will have to have her own place till the cat passes from old age... ;) JK.

Good Luck with the cat I will ask around...

The person I told you about would've taken the cat if the one he currently had, hadn't been abused and wasn't as vicious as he is. Sorry, give a call to some of the animal shelters we listed. Good luck and I hope he finds a home ;)
