OT: Go Lakers!

wooooooww... if we get the calls at home that the celtics got then we will win by 30 plus!! the first game was a joke cuz of the reffs and now tonights game was worse!!!!! even the commentators on abc were arguing about the officiating...about ticky tac fouls on Kobe and then getting mugged driving the ball!!!!! one or two bad calls is acceptable, we all make mistakes but those refs were a JOKE!!!!

Total Free Throws:

Lakers Team = 10
Leon Powe = 13

CELTICS 27-38 freethrow 71%
LAKERS 10-10 100%

28 more freebies?? it wasnt a shock that they won...

I think the Lakers will get swept.. this Boston team is unbeatable, even if we have Bynum i think they will still sweep us.

heck I think even the Jordan-led Bulls can't beat this Celtics team.

sad, sad day..

unbeatable?? i think not... this team got taken to the seventh game by atlanta!!! LMFAO:lol: atlanta was 8 games under 500 in the reg. season.. then taken to 7 by clevland.. they most certainly are beatable!! lakers are undefeated at home this postseason!! there till is HOPE!!

Tonight's game was a total joke. Who the F is Leon Powe? The refs were must have thought he was a superstar or something the way they were calling fouls for him. While the Lakers get mugged yet no whistle. Total BS!!!

you guys need to quit crying about the referee's..... the celtics were way more aggressive and much more active, point blank. Home teams always have an advantage, it's part of basketball, but to act as if that cost them the game is myopic at best. Lakers will have to play more consistently and actively attack the basket. they will get some calls at home they don't deserve as well.....like radmonovich got when he took a hundred steps onhis way to that dunk...lol.

All the foul calls messed up the Laker's rhythm especially with Kobe with 3 fouls in the 2nd quarter.

Ok the home team has its advantage. Double the foul calls against the other team is a little high still but QUADRUPLE the fouls???

what else would phil say?
In the last 3 years, even getting pounded he usually says nothing. If sportswriters and analysts says it was horrible officiating, then it was.

A few bad calls is part of the games but if you take out the team for the first half, it's insurmountable.

Phil has alwaaaays played these games with referee's over the years. it brings attention and pressure to the refs to turn the advantage in the next game. Lakers were out hustled and out worked tonite. But I digress, I've learned not to argue with fans, because you only watch the game from your teams perspective. I like the Lakers, but like basketball more, and can see that we got outworked, kobe forced some shots, can't get clean looks, let his emotions get the best of him as well.

did you see how the lakers made a run at the end?? thats when the refs were letting them play and not blowing a whistle down the court!!! i thought raddy traveled also and i was calling then game with my buddies the whole game... i love the lakers but am not trying to be a homer but did you see the celtics pulling the lakers jersey and we get called for the foul?? the refs are a joke

jay were you watching/listening to the game when the abc commentators were complaining about the way game was called?? they do this for a living on live tv and they dont work for either teams!!!! stop hating cuz everyone here is a "basketball fan"... and we wanna see them beat us from the floor and not from the line.. and we dont wanna see all the starters on the bench starting the second quarter cuz of foul trouble.. lmao

jay your wrong if you think that the last game was a fair game just stupid refs and just poor calls they had 26 free throws to the lakers sorry but thats bull****.

I agree with Jay. Lakers were out played. Kobe went to the lin 11 times in the entire series against the Spurs. So him not getting to the line isnt somthing new in this series only. He is settling for jump shots instead of going to the basket. I credit the defence of the celtics.

Its common for the calls to be in favor of the home team. You guys wont complain when the same thing happens in LA for the lakers. Its part of the game.

Its funny how in basketball and football When someones team loses its always the refs fault. It goes both ways But people only notice a missed call or a bad call against there own team. That travel by radmonovich was the most blantant non call of the game and helped get the lakers into position to almost win it.I didnt see any laker fans complain about that. That was pretty funny he traveled from like half court to the basket

my point is that all of this is part of the game. The referee's tend to reward aggressiveness on offense. And yeah, I don't want to see the starters on the bench, but thats not the decision of the refs either. Odom was waaay over aggressive on d, and he was too amped for the game. Even Phil said as much. Point being as naz420 says no one complains when it's their team getting away with it. Ask the spurs! (fisher fouling b.barry)

And to 122ddler as a guy who played some d1 college ball, I tend to see the game a little different then some one actively rooting for their team. If you couldn't see the amount of energy and effort the C's were putting out and just outplaying the Lakes last night, well..... If you don't understand that, so be it.... just my opinion. :)

Lakers are playing against the Celts+Refs+Vegas

Just how exactly do you win that?

by the way, did you watch the game or just reviews? any basketball fan that watched the game knows it's really one sided...

Do you know Michael Wilbon, the biggest laker hater on the planet. This is his quote about the officiating, "embarrasingly one sided".
