OT: Go Lakers!

marion is not plAying well at all this year for the heat.. i saw the clipper game the other day against the heat. and he was just another overpaid player. marion was only good in the phoenix system and nash made him a better player. i think the matrix is just an average player who over achieved in phoenix...

Is anyone else watching this madness???!?!?!!?!? The Lake Show is gettin' ROCKED right now by NY...This is terrible. Down by 15 points at 1/2 time. Unbelievable :(

They seem to be thinking about the holidays more than the games lately ... just squeaking by like tonight. They have to play like they did early on the year with authority. Those guys in green are coming Christmas day. Let's see one of those LAKERS games were accustomed to.

Kept track of this ever since I became a b-ball fan. For the last 2 decades (probably more, but that's a lot to type), it seems the NBA Champs had something in common other than big @$$ rings. There was always that one work horse. The one guy who did the dirty work or brought intangibles that won't show up on any stat sheet.

Been waiting to see a team break that rule. Anyone on the current Lakers roster fit that mold?

Thoughts?

Trevor Ariza

I thought Ariza would be that guy last year, but coming off that injury, he didn't get that much PT.

Remains to be seen whether or not he gets enough crunchtime minutes to take on that role.

starbury will be that guy for us this year.

hahahahaha, psych. never never never never never.

i worry about one thing more than anything else: we can't defend at the point if our lives depended on it. any 1/2-way decent player can absolutely TORCH us on any given night. we could definitely use an extra defender there at the 1 position
