OT: Good restaurants on the beach?

Now that it's summer, what are some good restaurants on/near the beach? I really liked Back on the Beach in Santa Monica, but for some reason they've decided to close for renovations during summer  .

Any other places I should check out in the area?

Longboards on the wharf and Brophy Bros. in the marina, Santa Barbara, if your in the area. Both great food and drinks, and the nice waitress' of course.

I'll definitely check out the Malibu sites, I was already planning on visiting Neptunes Net.

The entire area around the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific is all restaurants.

Las Brisas in Laguna Beach is awesome during the day. Sit on the patio and you get a panoramic view of all of laguna beach and the ocean. It is awesome.

And you will wait a long time. There is Dukes in Malibu too.

Las Brisas food is middle of the road, service reminds me of an amusement park. Skip it. Location is great, but thats it.

You want the best Alaskan Crab legs, go to Captain Jacks in Seal Beach. Get the Crab leg combo. Make reservations. Casual.

An all time favorite is the Crab Cooker in Newport. Paper plates and plastic forks but the food is pure and simply tasty. Besides, the have Heineken on tap!

I used to love the Four Seasons Sunday brunch in Santa Barbara, but the food selection has gone downhill in my opinion and the price has gone up... The two things that will stop my cheapass from going back.

Captain Kidds fish market in Redondo is a favorite for some really fresh seafood and decent prices considering the quality. No tip or waitress service, picnic bench style seating and paper plates.

You can order fresh fish and they can charbroil it up and through in a couple side dishes for just $3.00 more I believe. They have a decent selection of beer and wine.
