OT impact windows or hurricane shutters

I am looking for someone who installs hurricane shutters and or impact windows. We have the roll downs with the motors, but some of the motors are broke and Mike has to put them down with a drill. Looked into replacing the motors years ago, but the company who originally installed them wanted $500.00 a motor. We can do that, but wait, the new warranty isn't valid because they were in chapter 11. *** The sales guy didn't even tell me that. I found out by looking into the company my self! Probably wanting to go with according shutters on most of the windows.

Can anyone recommend a good place?

Are you looking for a place in Broward? The place I got my moms from is way down south in Miami by the falls. I installed them myself over a weekend.

He installs impact windows, in Miami but will most likely do work up there. windows are more pricey so I prefer going with shutters but they do make the house look nicer, and you don't have to worry about closing/putting up the shutters when having impact windows obviously.
Just a reminder, impact rated shutters and windows give you discounts on wind insurance.
