OT: NBA Finals!

you aint sh*#&%ing there Kdblove_99... I hate bowen... I have never been so ****ed about anything in my life... I was so ready for the spurs to win that one, just so I would not have to watch it ang get ****ed anymore... Pheonix is my favorite, but they got so robbed... I would have much rather seen Suns VS. Cavs in the finals... NBA will realize how bad they screwed up after this series... That would have been the best series since the '90's, and could make basketball fans out of people again... They cost themselves so MUCH money when they suspended Stoud and Diaw

Karl, I respectfully have to 100% disagree with your asessment. Z is not all star claiber whatsoever. He is not even the Cavs 2nd best player IMO. He is past his prime and was almost cut this last offseason. He is unmovable due to his large contract. All stars are tradable. Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes are better now. Z had his day but he gets most of the rebounds due to his mere size, and is a tiny threat in the low post. This does not qualify as an all star, or even all star claiber unless we count the past, in which case the Kings have an All Star caliber center in Miller. (I know Z is better than Miller, but not that much :( ) Since you brought this up on the Kobe thread I have to say, Odom is much closer to an all star than Z!!

I hope Bowen sticks his leg under Lebron and when James lands on it he breaks Bowen's leg so bad the bone is exposed!!! Bowen is extremely dirty and if the Pistons couldn't stop Lebron he will score on Bowen too. Prince is a classy defensive ace and they had to adjust him off of James. Unfortunately the Spurs will win because Duncan is quietly sound and unstoppable. His presence make Manu and Parker so much better.

No problem, Paul;) I agree that Gooden is finally showing the promise that was expected out of him from Kansas. However, he does not draw double-teams in the post like Big Z, which means coaches still see him as a big threat in the post. You can't teach 7'3":)

Hughes is a nice player and has the tools, but he's very weak mentally, and is a non-factor in close games. It's been fun watching Gibson come into his own.

Gibson played out of his mind in game 6, it was fun too watch. I will be interested to see if San Antonio doubles down on Z. I have a feeling they won't but the Pistons wouldn't have either if they still had Big Ben. At least we aren't talking about the lakers :D

Laker talk is HEATING up!!! I think they're putting the final touches to bring in JO, Ron-Ron, and J. Kidd. Expect a newsflash soon. This news will be bigger than the finals themselves.

Flip might lose his job after this fiasco.

Can you imagine if Carlos Boozer hadn't bolted to Utah. How good would the Cavs be right now. By the way, the Lakers can get Boozer for Lamar Odom in a "New York Second".

They coulda, shoulda had him last year! Unless Mitch the **** leaves La La land the Lakers are not getting anyone! It's sad but true

As much as I HATE Duncan and the Spurs I only see the Cavs winning maybe 1 game!

Im thinking about getting some next season.......after all, the Kings will probably move to Vegas in the next few years and they will be the only show in town, unless the city and fans starting playing ball.

Ill quit hijacking this now......

They will be in Vegas as well! Maloofs own both teams and word is Arco will be uninhabitabal in about 3-4 years. No Arena means no basketball period!

I hate the Kings but think it's the stupidest thing Sac. could ever do if they leave!

Booz is only good due to the system in Utah. He would be a mediocre player at best if he stuck around at Utah. The system is ran around the KING at Cleveland. But Utah has a block set sytem where he is just a beast down there. Back at Cleveland he had to sit around the block and grab the boards for King James.

While the system helps in Utah, the guy can flat out ball. He would be goos anywhere, except maybe in L.A. where Kobe would **** him off! To say he is medocre now is pretty silly. He is an all star type now and at a tough position to get talent.

He was already at 15 pts and 11 reb before he left Cleveland. Honestly, his numbers would be better in the smaller East, then they are with Utah.

and the ever important HUSTLE that Ginobili, Bowen, Horry, and Oberto bring to the table.

Like to hear your thoughts on this match-up:)

how about parker? that little dude has some crazy hustle ;)

I wouldn't like spurs if it wasn't for him.

MEDIOCRE, MEDIOCRE, MEDIOCRE... Carlos Boozer is mediocre. As a big man, you are to get 10pts 10 boards. We shall see how he performs next season, and the other thereafter. Just because he came up one post-season doesn't mean he gets all the praise and give me all-star status. Not in my books at least. I would say yes an all-star in the east, but not in the west.

How do you think Utah got so good? Williams is the man but with no Boozer this team is not even in the playoffs. If you say not an all star in the west that is only because the big men now are gods!! Duncan, Dirk, KG, Amare. That group could keep any forward outside of Howard from making the western all star team. Boozer is a stud, and I base that on the fact that he is young and lead his team to the WESTERN finals. The West will be even rougher next year with Oden and Durant residing there while the East will be the whooping boys for Lebron. Your analysis is mediocre
