That's cause he couldn't keep his eyes off Vanessa. The Pistons manhandled them, too.

Agreed. Pistons were phenomenal that season :)

The exact reason why I can't stand Laker fans and wanted nothing more for them to lose.... :(

This is the stuff we all can look forward to for the next year :(

Way to go Laker fan. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

BTW Laker fan, Shaq is like a gazillion years older than Kobe at this point. Of course hes nowhere in sight. His career is at its end... And he still has one more ring than Mr. "Colorado".

WOW, tell us how you really feel:D So what kind of stuff can we look forward to next year?? If you mean Laker fans celebrating another championship while the lowly Kings try and figure out how to win there first...........then yep!

If you think Laker fans are so bad try going to a Kings game in Laker gear and see the warm reception you get...........how about a 40 year old woman that sounded like she had never seen a BBall game in her life screaming in your ear and yelling at the Maloofs (there Suite was about 3-4 rows behind us) to have me moved for wearing Laker gear. Obnoxious fans are every where (no pun intended to anyone here)not just Laker fans.

It's all about the passion don't get so upset:lol:

On a side note anybody here ever go into the sports forums? I used to visit a 49er one all the time and it's funny how a difference of opionion can have fellow fans ready to fight eachother through the screen:eek1:

Vanessa [The right stuff]
Uh uh, not Vanessa with the singer career,
But the X-rated video queen,
Know what I mean?

Wow, a lot has happened here since my last post! lol First off, I'd have to agree with TD being one of the best PF ever! He's gets it done on both ends consistantly every night. Secondly, that team that Karl put together for the Suns would have been amazing. Brand and Magette are both great players and I'll also agree that they shouldn't have gotten rid of The Matrix for Shaq (Doesn't Shawn Marion kinda look like a dinosaur?!) just like Dallas shouldn't have gotten rid of Harris for Kid. Third, this NBA season and espcially this post season has been one of the best in recents times. Fourth, lets not kid ourselves, when Malone joined the Lakers, they basically setup a retirement home and would only allow those 40 and over in!!! LOL

Well, we can look forward to a bunch Laker fans... well, acting like Laker fans :) My radio will be off all summer due to insurgence of ridiculous comments made by rabid callers to talk radio shows. 99% will all come from Laker fans who only know one player in the league. Kobe.

Try wearing a Kings jersey to a Lakers game. Trust me, what you experienced here is a walk in the park ;) You get shot in LA for less.

But there's nothing wrong with supporting your team. But doing so with a little class never hurt anyone :)

I'm not upset. Just not looking forward to the Lakers being back on top :(

And yes, the Kings haven't won a championship. But we're also not a big money market like LA, Boston, Miami etc.... We can't even get a arena built in this town... How are we going to get BB stars to play here? We had a lucky few seasons w/ the addition of Webber and Bibby. But when Webber left, so did the appeal of Sacramento being a place for big names to play. No one wants to play here, and no one in Sac wants to change that. If we could get people here like Phil Jackson, Shaq, Odom, Gasol, Jerry West, you better believe we'll get a ring. But until that changes, we're not going to get anything.

Same could be said for everyone calling Grant and Mike this week on 1140 and crying conspiracy theroy, the nba wants the Lakers and Celtics to play in the finals bla bla bla!!

Come on now offer these cats enough money and they will play anywhere!!! The teams in Sac that were good were soft and lacked that Killer instinct and defense. I won't even go into an Arena issue as it makes me cuss and I'm not even a Kings fan!! Little Markets get big names it's just about having the right front office to get the job done. Petrie has been Anoited the HEAD KING and can do no wrong but if you ask me he has done little right but give scrubs big money and have them on the books for years to come. When they did have a chance to get the big names they just sat back and watched them go to other teams!

Ok enough ranting now I need to get back to work hahaha

Lakers in 6 and Champions in 08 and 09!!!

Where was Kobe these 2 seasons?

Season W L %
2005-06 45 37 .549
2004-05 34 48 .415

If he could do it all and take over a game on his OWN in the 4th why so crappy these 2 seasons? let me think, he had no team around him.

So you're trying to tell me Kobe doesn't take over games? Really?

I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree...=)

lakers in 6 is correct...they will lose in 6 games and dont have a chance in 08 or 09 :)

That's a pretty strong statement. Guess we'll have to see...;)

Does Kobe have the abilty to take over games absoluetly. So does LBJ.

Here is kinda what i'm trying to say. Everyone one of you laker fans are Kobe this Kobe that. This team would have been ousted without Gasol. No doubt about it everuyone talks how Kobe took over last night Kobe MVP. Kobe is great.

Well Pau had 12pts 19 boards and 4 block shots.

Kobe had 39Pts 3 assists and 3 rebounds plus he took 30 shots

Bro, we've already been over this. No one player can win on his own. You have to have a team in place. Like I said, Duncan had a freakin triple double and lost! Without Ginobli and Parker...he doesn't win anything or goes as far or whatever that argument is.

I'm saying, Kobe is at a different point in his career than Lebron and, in my opinion, is a better all around player than LBJ at THIS POINT. You will never convince me otherwise. And the more we go over this...it would seem I'm not gonna convince you either...

But that's cool.

I let my emotions drive me when I wrote that first post...got a little carried away. But I think we will all have to agree to disagree on the Kobe vs. Lebron thing.

Now whether the Lakers will win the whole enchilada...I'll take bets from anyone! Name the bet. My Lakers ain't losin! Not even against the Celtics with my boy KG. Uh uh. Not this year!

What's funny is, do you guys remember who signed Gasol to the max extension that the Grizzlies were desperate to get off their books for cap relief?

He orchestrated this from the very beginning. Once a Laker, always a Laker;)
