As the title states I haven't been around for the last week. My father was rushed to St. Anthony's via EMT last Sunday! He was near death's door by Tuesday; to the point that he was given his last rights! As we all prayed; Wednesday he was doing somewhat better; and today he's starting to recover!
He has a history of cancer, advanced emphezima (sp), congestive heart failure, High Blood Pressure, etc, etc... My wife is a cardiac nurse and she keeps warning that don't get your hopes up; this sudden recovery from near death. She say's and I've heard from others in health care that more times than not a person that is appearently terminal will make a sudden reversal and everyone thinks the worst is over, only to see a sudden death within days. I don't want to ramble just needing to vent a little. Thanks for reading and your prayers are welcomed and needed!
