OT - Super Grouper

I discovered Lombardis fish market! While I was looking at their yummy fish I grabbed some grouper and some miscellaneous bits to feed the tank. Sometimes I wonder if I should feel conflicted about feeding my fish the same day I eat some.

If you're brave enough to brave dinner in front of your fish here's on the menu tonight:

1 fillet of grouper (halved should be more than enough for 2 ppl)
2 Tsb Lemon Juice
1/4 cup of butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic Powder
Fresh Dill
EVOO


Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Reserve 1 tbs piece of grouper.

Melt down butter and mix with lemon juice.

Put a little olive oil in a baking dish to lubricate the pan.

Season fish on both sides of fillet with salt and pepper and garlic powder. Place in baking pan and sprinkle fresh dill on top. paint fish with some lemon butter mixture, cook for ~10-12 minutes per inch thick of fillet.

Feed small piece of grouper to tank, watch fish go absolutely nuts.

Add remaining mixture to fish and broil for 2-5 minutes to finish off.

Serve with favorite sides. Tonight is broccoli, carrots, and a porcini risotto (its packaged, worth trying, cooks just like other boxed rice mixes)

You might try adding some Selcon for some extra nutrition :D

P.E. Mysis adds alot of protein as well LOL :)

I like my Mysis with butter and garlic - sometimes as tempura :cool:
