OT: What is your Hue IQ?

ummmm, ready for a good laugh ? lets start out with this ,i own a auto body shop and paint cars for a living .i am however color blind in almost every aspect on tests . I'm not patting myself on the back but i am an excellent painter and have an awesome ability to blend even the hardest of colors . most of blending colors is technique as you will see when i tell you that i scored a 141 on that test !yupper 141 and let me tell you they looked great to me as they were in order perfectly as i saw them .that's funny but true ,hope i dont get fired for that score .

thanks for getting a lower score than my 81 :)

Also keep in mind that having an uncalibrated monitor may be a problem as well. Just something to make some of you feel better, lol.

I got a 0.

Which is weird, because one of my eyes is more sensitive to blue, and the other red... I guess once the hues are next to each other they stand out like a sore thumb to me... IDK.

I wonder.... on my monitor the color scale has about a dozen very harsh bands.there are sections where it is just not gradual. Is that what everyone else sees?

May just be your monitor or graphics card of the computer you are using. If the monitor isn't calibrated like the other guys have suggested, you may not be seeing the colors correctly.

in case you didn't see my other thread I recently had a 7 year old monitor fail.
I'm now using a 15 year old monitor. The whole color spectrum on this thing is drastically different. I believe a 0 score is possible but in addition to having good eyes you need a good monitor.

In short... the playing field for all of us isn't the same.

yah thats what gave me that bad score my brand new monitor is out of sync with its flux capacitor and thus had a isometric color shift into another polar universe ! yah thats it !

i wish i could as i am looking for more wire for more windings to accomplish such a feat ~ 1.21 Gigawatts ........pffft do you know what it takes to make that kind of power ?
i need a drink !
