Have to say that "Blood Sky" is my favorite. Mostly for the color but also because the composition just has something very unique about it. I just can't put my finger on how to describe it.

Virga Glow is a very close second for me. Overall just an amazing shot. Great exposure, composition, color....simply wonderful.

Amazing shots. Did you use any filters or anything to capture those colors?

I only own two types of filters; neutral density and polarizing. All of the shots above had a polarizer attached. In most cases getting good color is just a matter of exposing the subject correctly. I shoot RAW and in the case of most of these shots actually slightly overexpose in the camera and then pulled it back slightly during conversion. That gives me the most pixel information.

what kind of camera you use? Ihave a canon 20D and I can't even take pics half as nice as that. So it's more the user than camera:lol:
